We must be adjustable to cope up with any kind of situation. We can call it as an illusion of control. I especially liked making brooms, cooking, and buying Sarsaparilla.

Now, fifteen or so years later, I work in museums like Living History Farms! Who knows, maybe in fifteen years you will be doing the same!

JennaJennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09417097530254920421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630083773936081148.post-30886588543319659042011-06-13T18:27:03.622-07:002011-06-13T18:27:03.622-07:00Hagen,

The only time I was there I was driving through, but they weren't opened yet. It was disappointing, but I am going to go someday. You gave me a lot of information while I wait!

Good post. It made me smile too.

Mrs. KrebsDenise Krebshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00583406241247334445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630083773936081148.post-31812456689923390952011-06-13T05:31:59.649-07:002011-06-13T05:31:59.649-07:00Hagan:

It's neat that you tried to recreate what it would have been like to cook your meals over an open fire. Certainly different than the way we cook today, isn't it?

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and come back to LHF anytime!Public Relationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08998948232141454127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1630083773936081148.post-2397735825347279932011-06-12T19:18:08.029-07:002011-06-12T19:18:08.029-07:00Wow, Hagan, what a fun camp! We used the same types of tools that the American colonists did. History makes more sense, when you can "live" it. Enjoy your campfire and keep those wonderful drawings coming!
